Denim has always been one of those trends that will never fade out. From bootcut style to drainpipe skinny which  made style stakes thanks to our very own Kate Moss . Denim is one of the few fabrics that seem to be consistent when it comes to making top fashion trends.

Whilst Kate is well known for her blacks and greys and whites this season a dash of colour has been added to the shops this season. From literally every colour you can think of, grab yours now to brighten up your wardrobe!

ASOS CANVAS RUCKSACK £35

No trend setters wardrobe is set to be complete if it doesn’t contain a rucksack this season. No not the huge school children style rucksack where you are practically weighed down. This Autumn/Winter 2010  they’ve taken a wonderful stylish turn. Coming in a variety of materials and colours, leathers and sheepskin are everywhere at the moment. The ever stylish Mary Kate Olsen sets it off by rocking one on the red carpet and Whitney Port goes casual cool with hers.

River Island chunky knit

A classic cable knit is definitly a must have this winter for all wardrobes!  This trend hits all the spots for effortlessly cool whether you go casual and comfy in teaming them with shorts for that “oh this? I’ve just thrown it on” look or make like Alexa “always on trend” Chung and add a touch of leather to sex it up a notch. Oh yes by the way u get extra brownie points for neutral tones this season. Grab your one from River Island as seen below or vintage stores around London always seem to have the best buys AND at a bargain! On the other hand you could always nip into your grandads wardrobe!

Our furry friends never let us down in the style stakes!  Well they are helpful keeping us warm but even better for helping us look great! A few shoppers in Oxford Circus I managed to catch, definitely understand what I’m talking about.  A girl can never get enough fur- its just one of those things that has no age and carries no time!

Say hello to one of your new winter best friends (amongst leather and fur this season), a key piece- the camel coat. Impossible to look less then chic in one!  A trend definitely spawned by Chloe’s Fall 09.10 collection, where she set the tone.

In fashion strong thoughts don’t just disappear, so we saw the continuation of this into her Pre-Fall and Fall ’10 collections as well.

Who said black was boring? Not in this day and age, experimenting with different textures of black in your outfit could just bring it all together. Gothic Trends are taking over from magazine spreads to an entire subculture of people everywhere.  Huge statement rings and accessories made of copper and silver overtake the market, while personal style is kept minimal.

Just throw on some rouge and you are all set!

For this version of Richmond street style I decided to show clothes from one of Richmond’s local designers, Jessica Lemar. She gives vintage a twist! Instead of buying ordinary vintage, she goes to thrift stores, penny shops, and vintage boutiques to create her own personal masterpieces. She cuts and re-sews clothing items to give them a modern appeal. If you want to snag some of her looks just look on etsy.com!
Here are a few of her pieces.

While flocks of skipping and smiling models have been the chosen closing line up for designers from Alexander Wang to Lanvin, the trend has definitely caught on amongst the fashionable ones on the street.

This week in Paris, it has been difficult to spot a person of style going solo, as a fashionable friend is always in tow.

Here are a few of the pairs generating remarkable appearances this fashion week.
